UPDATE

Hello all,

I just wanted to take a moment and check in with you all. I should let you know that we have had amazing advances in our circle, however, we're not ready to explain it all until things have progressed a bit more. What I can tell you is that we have found the identity of our main circle guide through meditation and the clues that he gave us including that he was a DR. and his FIRST and LAST NAME. From then, I was guided to look up the individual online and found the exact person who fit the criteria including type of doctor, where he was from, when he died, the interests he had (occult and parapsychology). The real defining information that made us KNOW that this was accurate was the fact that when this doctor was alive, he was a member of the Society for Psychical Research and studied TRANCE MEDIUMS! He sat in many physical circles just like ours! The real proof came an hour after when I was talking to one of the readers at the metaphysical bookstore I worked at. Without knowing anything about him other than his name, said he walked into the space so I asked what her impressions of him were. She nailed all of the facts that I had just learned about him to a T! AMAZING!

He has already come through me a few times, however this last time was absolutely outstanding! It was as though all of a sudden something clicked and my whole body went light and was under the control of this being. I even gasped a little at how not in control I was. It was MAGICAL.

Along with this news, we've also had objects in the room move including our apparatus and a piece of paper. We've also had the sound of a bell ringing and paper moving along with (the now regularly occurring) raps, taps, and knocks. We're so extremely excited with the development and there are promises of greater things to come! We currently have 4 people who have sat regularly and this up coming Wednesday will be adding another!

 Note the brown base of the apparatus above. It is usually aligned with the center of the square, however it was pushed to the right.

I am so grateful to spirit for the work they're accomplishing and the speed at which they are developing our group! I didn't realize how amazing this work really could be! I look forward to what else is to come!

New direct voice sounds...

Hello all, I hope you're reading this post in great spirits!

Today I sat for Spirit by myself at the metaphysical bookstore I work at in one of the meditation rooms. I asked Spirit to work on trance mediumship (since I had a pretty amazing experience the other day which I haven't written about yet but will sometime). Normally, they work on what I ask for but this time they did their own thing, which I was quite pleased with. After the opening prayer and the opening songs, I started feeling very strong physical sensations that I have come to attribute to my Spirit Team working with my energy. I started getting a tremendous amount of knocks on the walls and within the space (like on chairs and other objects in the room). I'm writing this post because the new (and kind of funny) direct voice experience I had. In the past, I've gotten deep breathing sounds and breaths. However, this time was something entirely different! Instead of breathing, I got what sounded like flatulence about two feet away from me and six feet up in the air! This happened I believe a total of 2 times! I had to try to not laugh because it was so obviously in the room and so very distinct and loud. This would be a good time to point out that there was absolutely no one else in the entire store (or any nearby suites as most places in our center are closed on Sundays). This was after hours and I was the only one there (and I can assure you those sounds were NOT coming out of me hahaha!) so I have no other way to attribute them to anything other than Spirit! Especially since they were accompanied but such strong physical sensations and knocking. My theory: it was Spirit working with ectoplasm and trying to practice using a voice box however, as they are likely still learning, it just sounded like gas :)

This makes me love my Spirit Team even more <3

You'll never walk alone...

Wow. I'm really amazed at Spirit's progress. I guess the best place to start is recent developments. So there have been four times where I have heard breathing or "sssss" sounds next to my head or across from me near my friend. The first time I was by myself in my cabinet meditating. The next two times was with my friend, she heard it once and did not hear it a second time. This last time, I happened to be recording! Upon playback I heard the breathing sound which to me validated that I really have been hearing this sound coming from the air. This, and another electronic anomaly are posted below:



You can begin to hear the breathing (albeit extremely faint. You need to have zero other sounds in the background to even hear it!) beginning @ :19 seconds. The loudest point is @ :25 and@ :26 you hear it trail off. It's so super faint I wasn't sure if I would even post it. If anyone knows of a program that can amplify audio sections, I'd be super pleased! Then I've spliced the other anomaly into the next section. @1:09 you hear the beginning of a humming sound followed by a knock at the end of it! I've never had something like that happen. I should also mention it was silent in the room with no music in the background. Pretty interesting.

Then tonight, we had a total of three people sitting in our group (hopefully a permanent fixture) and we had all kinds of activity. It was slow to start but once it got going it was magical! We had knocks that were responding to what we were saying! They would knock on the walls when they were confirming something we were saying. If we started conveying messages that we were getting accurately, we would start to hear all kinds of knocks! They worked on trance mediumship with us as well. In the opening prayer, I didn't realize that I had invited not just our spirit team, but loved ones as well- and one came through for our newest member! I had a hard time letting him through and our closing song came on when we began making any progress but I clearly got a name and my face began to sag on one side which to me meant a stroke or something like that. Our connection with our Spirit Team is getting better and better. There is one more thing: We may have gotten a piece of wood to be moved by Spirit. I say "may" because I can't recall if I had placed it back in it's outline perfectly before we began or not. It's possible that I didn't however I'm a pretty big stickler when it comes to the objects being correctly placed in their outline on the sheet of paper (so we can see if they had moved at all). When the lights came on, it was moved ever so slightly (though noticeably) to the right. I feel like I wouldn't have begun without making sure those were properly placed. From now on, I'm going to take a picture for the before and after. If they moved the wood once, they'll move it again i'm sure :)

In any case, I'm kind of rushing this post because I'm tired and should be working on homework haha (oh ya, school.) Hope it made sense and I'm so happy and proud of the progress that's been happening! Everything is moving so fast! :)

"We've done it! We've done it! We've done it!"

I am almost without words and unable to think of how to begin this post. My mind is blown and I have no real ability to completely understand what just occurred. I can only make educated guesses based on the research I have done, the amount of effort I have put in daily, and my intention towards Spirit. 

Tonight, Spirit became real to me.

Where to begin? How about my mindset towards Spirit up to this point...

As I had mentioned before, my point of view towards the capabilities of Spirit were drastically changed after watching the Stuart Alexander speech. The fact that a person who sat for 3 years with nothing happening and a total beginner when it came to intuitive development was one night, impressed upon very intensely by spirit to deliver a message to the group that all their hard work basically paid off was view changing for me. It was then that I realized that we have no real part in what happens with Spirit development except for our willingness to be open to experience and to develop with their help. It's that level of complete openness that is essential to experience the level of proof Spirit can provide to those of us who doubt. "I allow, I allow, I allow" has been my mantra in all my sittings with Spirit. Surprisingly, I haven't really had much happen in the way of amazing phenomenon since Spirit moved my body that one time. Since then, I have also been doing a bunch of research on direct voice physical phenomenon (as this is THE most fascinating of all physical phenomenon, next to full materialization), particularly Leslie Flint. He's basically my hero. This man didn't take fees and did his work as a service to the public. He allowed himself to be tested (the most tested psychic in fact, and was never found fraudulent) and was humble, sincere, and cared about the spiritual aspects of his mediumship. I've listened to some of his talks and he was basically magic. That's what I wanted. I wanted to be completely legit. I wanted Spirit to genuinely show itself. If it were real, it would eventually show if I remained patient. I just had to be open, not have any desire of the outcome, and let Spirit show up. For my part, I could only be open and give permission. Tonight, Spirit gave me evidence of its reality and ability.

My friend Amanda and I sat in a smaller room at the metaphysical bookstore we both work at after hours in the pitch black dark. She was going to channel for me and I was just going to listen. For whatever reason, I thought to myself that I would set the space with crystals, incense, and do my usual ritual when it came to sitting. I set the space, grounded us, opened ourselves up, did the usual opening prayer that I do, and then blew out the candle, the only light source in the room to show that we would begin. Once it was blown out, complete and total darkness surrounded us. It was the darkest room I've ever sat in. In the darkness we breathed and waited for her channeling to begin. She began to channel and delivered a lovely message about her relationship with her unseen friend. Once she was done, we just sat in the dark and I asked us to just breathe and allow and let whatever happens, happen. We ended up sitting there for what ended up being an hour and a half. During this time, I began to go into a deep level of trance, as this was my intention. I wanted to see just how deep of trance I could get into given the safe space we created and the deep darkness. After what was likely 45 minutes of me breathing, relaxing, doing different trance induction techniques, I eventually found myself slipping in and out of consciousness. It kind of freaked me out a little but I knew that this was necessary practice if I was ever going to get out of the way enough for Spirit to use me the way I wanted. After a while, I felt myself go into a totally different mind space. I started to become aware of two beings discussing me. I heard them very clearly in my mind and wondered if this was just me making it up... but I just went with it. They had English accents and in my mind's eye, it looked almost as though they were in a laboratory of some kind (though I don't think literally). They were talking to me and one another asking if they could be heard and if they were coming in clear. I said yes. I could feel several physical sensations associated with this including tingling on the top of my head, around my neck and shoulders as well as a heavy pressure on the back of my neck. I could tell that they were trying to come through. However, I told them that IN NO WAY was I going to make anything happen just because I wanted it to. I could feel them wanting to come through and make the connection but I just felt like I was too present to not feel like it was me making it happen. So I told them that I give them permission to come in stronger and as strong as they need. In fact, I basically demanded that they come in stronger if they were going to try to get through to me. I literally said to "come through like you did for Stuart Alexander. I don't want to be in control of it." When I said that I felt a click on the top of my head and tingling down my body. They really were listening and trying. However, as time went on, I didn't think they were going to be able to make it through. I was able to have moments where I could feel them getting closer and closer to coming through but I stubbornly reiterated to them that I would not physically make these things happen. I felt like they had a good connection to my throat area but my face still felt completely in my control. Too much in my control to allow any sounds to exit my face. So after beginning to feel a bit impatient mixed with going in and out of a coherent state, I just told them if they were going to get through, they needed to move into my face and move it themselves. After about five minutes (just when I was about to give up), I felt myself in a very very deep trance. I then felt a click at the top of forehead and face and energy begin to flow. My teeth began to ever so gently chatter together, slowly and softly at first, then faster and harder, AND FASTER AND HARDER until my entire jaw, -COMPLETELY OUT OF MY CONTROL OR INTENT-, began to open and close all on it's own. It's at this point that I felt the most separate from consciousness. As far away from consciousness that you could be without blacking out. I then felt and heard a gurgling and almost choking sound coming from me while the chattering just got more and more intense. Finally some grunt moan sounds began to come out followed by a voice that felt almost in front of my face (though it was coming from my vocal chords). At first what was said was unintelligible but finally cleared up to say, "WE'VE DONE IT! WE'VE DONE IT! WE'VE DONE IT!" It was repeated about four or five times and then stopped. Amanda asked, "are you still here?" and with that, I realized exactly what had just occurred! I shook myself out of the trance and came back as much as I could and stopped everything. Amanda was confused (and a bit unnerved) and asked to turn the lights on. So we did and I was just in awe and shock. I was trembling though I'm not sure if that was from fear, energy, or adrenaline or what. It took a few moments before I was fully back and I was in shock and amazement. I described all of what I was feeling and going through to Amanda. I think it made her feel a little bit better but she was just so confused. I mean imagine sitting a completely black room and all of a sudden hearing choking and sounds coming from your friend and then a voice that wasn't your friend's voice coming through saying "we've done it!" I mean that's gotta be kinda scary. Later, Amanda told me that she was moments away from saying that she was ready to be done but then everything began happening. She also said that she had told Spirit that she hopes I get whatever I needed out of the experience and that she wouldn't freak out if she started hearing knocks and raps on the walls or door. I believe that Amanda gave Spirit permission for me to have that experience. I don't think Spirit wants to scare people or make them uncomfortable so I'm grateful to Amanda for holding that space for me. We talked about it afterwards and she just kept saying that wasn't you. I asked her to remind me that this was really something else and how amazing that experience was because my mind (or ego as she put it) was already trying to discredit that amazing experience. 

So with that, I believe I had my first experience of TRUE trance mediumship. I believe that what made it possible was Amanda and I's synergy and love, my openness to Spirit's power and ability, not making something happen myself and letting Spirit show up (or not) and to give them the permission/ opportunity to make it real by getting as far out of the way as possible.

Tonight was pure magic. My hope: That this is the beginning to a whole new world of experience with Spirit.

The deepest trance..

I'm still trying to understand what exactly I just experienced. The video I just posted really did take my entire perspective and turn it on its head. Tonight's meditation was unlike any other and I get the feeling (and hope!) that this is the beginning of true development.

I just had the most amazing experience that I can't really explain, mostly in part to the fact that I was in the deepest level of trance I have ever been in.
Here are the things I can recall:
-Firstly, I definitely never fell asleep or like I was going to sleep. This all felt very specific and purposeful throughout.
-I started this experience with a completely different idea. Basically was just going to be available for spirit. Not try to control anything, not try to be or do anything, just be open and if something happened, great. If nothing happened, also great. Rome was not built in a day and neither is physical phenomenon.
-I started off with the red light on facing the wall. Earlier today, I got the sense that I shouldn't have it directly on me as that's too intense of light. Once I did my opening prayer and meditation I definitely sensed a presence. It told me to turn off the red light. When I did that, my phone (which I use to film all my meditations) was creating light and I got the sense I had to make the light stop. Unfortunately, that also made the video stop so no recording which is why it's so hard for me to remember what the heck happened.
-Once in the dark, I just stayed open and waited for Spirit to come (if it would come).

It came.

-I remember hearing some kind of tap or knock and then felt this click on my head and back of neck. I felt this sense of melding and merging. The area from my knees down became very cool, almost like a breeze. Pretty much after that it was a series of physical sensations. The mantra I kept saying in my mind was "I allow. I allow. I allow." Things start to get a little hazy at this point but I remember hearing at least two other knocks in the space and behind me. Also, I felt like the sensations would come in waves. Almost like Spirit needed to build up energy, and then create some kind of influence, and then subside to build up more again. 

-I genuinely believe that they began pulling ectoplasm (or some other kind of energy) from my solar plexus. At first it felt tingly, then it felt like a coaster was on my stomach (the only analogy I can think of... that kind of pressure), and then once I was in a very deep trance, it felt like something hard was there. I can't prove that this was happening but that's my thoughts. In any case, the physical sensation was very particular and once we were done, completely disappeared. 

-I also got the image of a man in his early to mid thirties most likely. Dark hair. Parted on the side. In a suit and tie. Funny thing was that his image was in black and white. He looked like he could have been from the early 50s was my sense. I feel that perhaps this was the presence I was interacting with. 

-Something to note: At the very beginning, I stated that this would all last until the song "What a wonderful world" came on the playlist. Then I would be done... So in this trance state, I ended up basically tilted to the right side, slightly leaning on the closet door. My body was very still and stiff. I felt the presence on my left side (which is where I've felt this presence this entire time). I had involuntary muscle twitches that could have either been from the relaxed state or spirit, I'm not certain. One time, I did try to move and felt a soft pain in my solar plexus and thought "well if that's ectoplasm built up, I don't wanna mess with it" so I stayed still. There was an immense pressure on my neck (in part likely due to my chin being on my chest for an extended amount of time).

-The most intense and magical thing that happened for me: I'm tilted to the side, body feeling extremely stiff. I begin to hear "What a wonderful world" play and I think that it was all over and we were done. I try to move but I'm still stiff in this rigid position learning to the right. I get the sense "Don't move we're not done yet." So I stay still. I begin to feel the most gentle and softest "pressure" (for lack of a better word...force?) that begins to move me ever so slowly to the left instead of the right. Now in my mind I think "am I doing this myself?" so I completely let myself be still and not make any kind of movement whatsoever. I just thought of myself as a statue and focused on staying in trance. I believe I was most definitely NOT moving myself to the left because I made the conscious effort not to move. Eventually I was almost to the wall (and started to panic a little inside because here I am, letting some entity interact with my body completely move it and do whatever, but I reassured myself that I properly set the space and intention and that I had nothing to worry about. When I felt fearful I just said "I allow it, I allow it, I allow it") and just as my body and head ever so gently come into the contact with the wall, I hear the last line "ooooh yeeaaah" of "What a wonderful world" and then the VERY INSTANT the song was over, ALL the pressure on my body, sensations in my solar plexus, presence in the space, energy etc. completely lifted and everything was back to normal!

Mind completely blown. I pray this is the beginning.

Last night I watched this talk on YouTube given by a physical medium by the name of Stewart Alexander. He has over 40 years of experience in the physical mediumship realm. His earnest and sincere description of how he developed was so inspirational that it has changed my perspective on the abilities of Spirit. Blown away.

Little by little..

Hello all!

I'm happy to report that I am continuing my development here at home. I have set up a makeshift cabinet in my closet that seems to work great.

Since getting orbs on video, I have been much more motivated to continue developing. I have been meditating and connecting with Spirit every day since to continue to establish a relationship with my Spirit Team. I have been filming all my meditations under red light so far. I know it will likely take a while to develop any kind of physical phenomenon due to the fact that I'm developing on my own but I was pleased to get audio raps and taps in my video that I didn't hear while in meditation. The great part about it was that they sound just like the taps and raps that I've posted on here before. It's almost like a signature sound of Spirit. This is very encouraging to me because at least I know they're there and trying to connect as well. I figure if these are the first steps and signs, I'll take'em!

I'm excited to continue to develop and hope school and life doesn't take over again so I can continue to develop :) When I get some more evidential material, I'll be sure to post them!

Orbs appearing after meditation

Wow. I'm very excited to share with you guys an update on experiments with spirit. To update you, my group for physical mediumship unfortunately could no longer meet due to scheduling conflicts. Life got a bit busy for me as well so I haven't had the opportunity to work on experimenting with spirit. Fortunately, last night I was able to set up a space and time to make that happen... with great results!

I've set up a makeshift cabinet in my closet along with the dome and quartz cluster that we were using in physical mediumship group. Last night was the first time I used the space. It had been a while since I meditated and so my goal was to just run energy and practice building it up. I sat down, used a similar outline that we were using for the PM group. After about 20 minutes I felt done so finished up. Upon leaving the closet (ha), I got the sense that I should take a picture in the dark. When I took a photo, with the flash just before the picture took, I saw an orb very clearly float across the room. I was amazed and decided to try to take more photos. Unfortunately, the orbs would disappear in the flash before the photo would take. I then decided to try taking video. Here are the results (the music you hear in the background is part of the playlist I have for physical mediumship. It helps raise the energy of the room and the orbs seem to like it):

What I really like about the second video is that it shows that the orbs could do what I asked them to do. When asked to pass in front of the camera when pointed at the ceiling, they did. This tells me that they are trying to work with me to be seen. I'm very excited to do more work with them and further work connected in this vein.
