This is where things start to get interesting...
A few days into the week, a friend of mine comes over and we have a discussion about spirituality and afterlife. Somehow, we get onto the subject of Electronic Voice Phenomenon or EVP for short. I personally had never done them before and was very skeptical of results but as my skepticism had been weakening as of late, I thought it would be interesting to see if we picked anything up. I just so happened to have a voice recorder available and we decided to use that. Now, I wasn't about to just let any old spirit looking for a good time to come into my house and chat with us via voice recorder so I cleared the space, set the boundary that only the highest good could enter the space and asked angels to be present with us. We then went through a chakra meditation and began the EVP session. We began asking questions sitting still across from one another. We could both feel definite energy in the room. About half way through, I get the sense to blow out the two candles we have lit. What's interesting on the recording is that we don't get any kind of response to our questions until I do blow out the candles. What we pick up isn't a voice, however we do pick up "tapping" on the recording in response to our questions. I've selected the most noticeable and placed them here so you can take a listen. I ask the question:
"If you're present with us, will you give us a sign? Will you give us a sound?"
There's a beat and then you hear two distinct tapping sounds. Interestingly enough, this answers the two questions that I ask. You hear very faint taps as the space continues but not nearly as clear as the first two until after I ask the next question:
"These feelings that I'm feeling right now, am I experiencing your presence?"
Then immediately following the word "presence" you hear an identical, clear tap which to me meant "YUP!"-- I should preface that there were no sounds within the room and nothing was running except maybe the cable box but that makes no noise. I apologize for the bad sound quality- it's a tape recorder haha. Here's the audio:

There is one other point that we hear the tap identical to the others that I did not upload where I'm saying that I feel an "angelic vibe." If requested, I'll upload it just let me know.
We also had another odd sound during the recording that I can't exactly place. It sounds sort of like squeaking for lack of a better word. I feel it may be confirmation of what I'm saying, I'm not sure but I feel it's worth posting.
EVP- "Squeak"
So with the first successful experience with EVP encounters, the next night I wondered if I'd be able to record EVPs on my Iphone. I'd never heard of it working and when I tried researching if it's been done before I didn't find much to suggest that it would work but I figured I'd try it myself. In this recording, I am sitting alone in my room after clearing the space, asking for only the highest to come through, and meditating while raising and building my energy. It is completely dark and I have a large selenite crystal on top of my laptop with an amethyst point behind it. In my left hand, an azurite stone and in my left a rose quartz heart. I placed my phone on top of my lap top *specifically* mindful of the edge of the laptop. I didn't want the Iphone falling off and scaring me in the middle of the meditation so I moved it away from the edge closer to the center of the surface (this is important to note). I was sitting back in my chair away from the desk. I began the questioning once I felt the energy was present. I have gone ahead and uploaded the entire questioning process. You will notice that there is no EVP captured on the recording. However, at the end of my last question which was: "My goal here is to establish a connection via the recording. Please if there has not been so yet, make a connection on to the recording now." Then you will here what happens... If you're listening to the entire audio, I don't begin speaking until 1:28. Since there aren't any EVPs on here, you're welcome to fast forward to 5:45 to just hear the last question and the results.
Physical Phenomenon
Yes, the recorder goes flying off of the laptop! You can hear me breath out a "Woooah!" and then try to stay composed as possible as I try to end the session politely however you can tell I freak out a little if you continue listening haha. I don't get freaked out easily, but this definitely freaked me out... but in a good way. They definitely answered my question. If you notice, I start with "If there have not been so yet" any recordings, which there hadn't been, and I don't say "make a recording on to the recorder now" which is what I meant. Instead I say "make a connection on to the recorder now." Apparently they're literalistic. I know that people that hear this will likely think it's faked, I would. But I KNOW I did not knock the recorder off or make any kind of contact with it at all. I am 99% certain it didn't fall off (however there's always room for some skepticism). I also tested it by placing it in the same spot I had it during the session and left it there all night to see if it'd fall. I didn't. For me, this is THE most significant objective evidence I've ever encountered. EVER. My only wish is that I had a night vision camera going so I could see the thing go flying. You can even hear on the recording the force it was pushed with and that it drags for a second before falling. I'm amazed and grateful for the experience.
What now? Well I now know that I MUST do further investigation. Perhaps there's some potential for Physical Phenomenon mediumship I didn't know I had? Perhaps they were trying to make a point that they were there and are real? I'm not sure. But in any case, I will definitely be trying to get more evidence of that nature in the future. I'd love it if this blog was filled with images, EVPs, videos, and audio of extraordinary evidence such as this. I'm going to keep on trying to develop myself and my connection to Spirit and see where it takes me. I'm very excited and hope you'll stick with me on this journey.
